Lamniformes is an order of sharks. It includes a bit of of a virtually all familiar mintage of sharks, like the Great White Shark, and a select few highly uncommon types, like a Megamouth Shark.

Characteristics of the choose include: deuce dorsal fins, an anal fin, five gill slits, eyes without nictitating membrane, and mouth extending behind a eyes.
